CHILD CARE AVAILABLE

Hey Everyone!
I volunteered and was comissioned to put together childcare operations for the weekend. Therefore, if you need some extra hands and love for your little ones (any age!) over the weekend so that you can relax... we'll have sitters around the clock for you EXCEPT DURING THE MASSES. Yes... we can even watch your kids during MEALTIME!!!
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS:
At this point, it seems most families will be staying in the same hallway. If this continues to be the case, once you put your baby to bed (or we can do it for you) we ask that you place the output end of the baby monitor in the hallway for the sitters to know who's asleep and who's waking. We can either go get you or we'll pick the baby up for you and continue watching him or her. We'll also have public sleeping areas if you prefer (although it will be a bit noisy).
PLAY TIME:
Concerning a play area... we plan to utilitze one of the rooms for a nursery. This space can also be utilized for nursing moms. We're hoping this will be a place for moms to remain in fellowship along with a safe/baby proof area for the children as well.
TO BRING:
1. your own infant/baby monitor system
2. two toys to share with the group
3. bedding supplies (pack n play, sheets, blankets, etc) - for your room or for the nursery
4. healthy children snack foods (only for those who have children of age)
5. sippy cup/child cup with your child's name on it
IN NEED OF FEMALE VOLUNTEERS FOR WEEKEND TO BABYSIT... PLEASE CALL or TEXT: Beth Christensen at 484-336-0624 with your full name, cell phone #, and when you're available throughout the weekend. We'll be taking 1 hour shifts throughout the weekend.
Since this is our pilot year doing this... we're OPEN to any other ideas/comments as well!

This may sound pretty random soming from a single guy, so bear with me...
My heart is so moved by this childcare ministry that I wanted to let those of you involved in it know how much you touch even the hearts of us who have yet to bring little ones into the world! There is a pure love evident in the service you are doing for all of the parents on the weekend, and it blesses ALL of us with such grace!
Lord, may these beautiful lovers of souls be given your graces and a true retreat a hundred fold throughout the weekend. Give them an abundance of your Holy blessing--pressed down, shaken together and overflowing--as they provide for the rest of the body with their sacrifice of time and love! Amen!
